amichi Terms & Conditions
Important Customer Information - Your Rights and Obligations
This is a summary of the terms and conditions of the amichi prepaid digital mobile telecommunication service. The full terms and conditions of the supply of the service are contained in the standard form of Agreement which applies to the service. The services are more fully described in the standard form of agreement.
General Prepaid terms and conditions
Only 1 plan permitted per amichi SIM connection at any time. Prepaid plans may be modified or withdrawn by amichi at any time without notice.
The following services are not charged as standard calls; video calls; international calls; 1900, 1800, 1500 premium and other special numbers and services such as 1223 - Directory assistance and 123.
Global roaming and roaming on other domestic mobile networks is unavailable on prepaid plans at this time. The amichi network may not support other services set out on the amichi website.
You must pay us the fees and charges for using amichi's services. The fees and charges for using the services are set out in the Standard Rate Table which forms part of the standard form of agreement. All prices and credit expiry periods are current as of February 2008 and are subject to change. You will not be given an invoice or statement of account from Amichi for the services you use.
A compatible handset is required to use GPRS services, picture messaging and video messaging.
amichi services are subject to network limitations and availability and individual handset capabilities.
Handsets purchased through outlets that sell amichi in Australia may be locked to the Vodafone network. A fee may apply for unlocking selected handsets, visit www.amichimobile.com.au or call 126161 from your mobile for more details.
Amichi may collect your personal information from you or a credit provider or credit reporting agency. amichi may use your personal information to provide services to you, to carry out credit checking and scoring, to carry out market and product analysis and for marketing its products and services generally. amichi may also provide your personal information to third parties including related bodies corporate and its partners and associates for the purposes of providing the services.
You are required to comply with a number of terms and conditions when using amichi's services. Please refer to the standard form of agreement for full details of these terms and conditions.
All questions and complaints in relation to amichi's services should be addressed to Customer Care by calling 126 161 (from amichi mobiles only), 1300amichi (1300 264 244) from all mobiles and landlines, emailing cutomercare@amichimobile.com.au, faxing (02) 9922 5370 or posting in writing to amichi Mobile, PO Box 727, North Sydney NSW 2065. Charges will to calls made to Customer Care in accordance with the applicable rates contained in the standard form of agreement.
Should you feel that a complaint is not satisfactorily resolved you may be entitled to raise certain matters with the Australian Communications and Media Authority, the Australian Consumer and Competition Commission or the Telecommunications Industry Ombudsman.
As soon as you become aware of a fault in amichi's services you must report the fault to amichi by emailing customercare@amichi.com.au.
Prepaid - Plans
amichi prepaid plans are available to amichi SIM customers who pre pay. When you connect to an amichi prepaid plan you enter an agreement with amichi which you can terminate at any time, refer to the amichi standard form of agreement for more details.
amichi may suspend or disconnect any of the amichi services provided to you in various circumstances specified in the standard form of agreement. amichi may terminate its agreement with you if you breach a material provision of the standard form of agreement or otherwise on 30 days notice.
amichi prepaid plans are available at connection and upon recharge.

Credit which is not used by the end of the 60 day expiry period, before your next recharge or when you terminate your agreement with amichi is forfeited.
When changing from an amichi prepaid plan to any other plan or from an amichi prepaid plan to a post paid plan, no credit will be carried over.
For amichi prepaid plans, your account must be recharged within 60 days of connection or last recharge otherwise your connection will be suspended for 60 days and then deactivated.

Notice will be given of any variation to the standard form of agreement which would cause detriment to you by either advising you in writing or publishing a notice of variation at least 3 working days before the change takes effect.
